This is my first year teaching in the Platte Co. School District and lI ook forward to working with all the students and staff at PPMS. I have taught several different Science courses / disciplines and have coached High School football, track and wrestling in the Sioux City, Iowa Community School District for 33 years. I have a passion for science and nature along with the creative arts in which I am also able to teach theatre/drama and speech. I have played Division II College Football and have acted in and directed plays at Morningside College, also in Iowa. I plan and hope to help all learners use problem-solving techniques to provide evidence of research, communicate their understandings, beliefs and thoughts while having all students challenge themselves wanting to know more about our ever changing, natural world.
