My name is Staci Harwell, and I am the school counselor at Platte Purchase Middle School. I previously served as a high school mathematics teacher in the Blue Springs School District. Following that, I transitioned into school counseling, working at Ruskin High School and Liberty North High School.
I am excited to begin my first role at the middle school level and look forward to getting to know the students, staff, families, and the surrounding Platte Purchase community.
I grew up in Texas and graduated from high school in California. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi, a Master’s degree in Counseling from Avila University, and an Educational Specialist degree in K–12 School Counseling from the University of Missouri–Kansas City.
